I already have posted some photos of Rigi-Kaltbad, the way up to Mount Rigi, and Rigi-Kaltbad and Weggis from Lake Lucerne. This time, I would like to show you the beautiful Mount Rigi from Kuessnacht am Rigi and not from Weggis.
I took these photos from the neighboring village of Weggis, from the Astrid Chapel area along Luzernerstrasse in Kuessnacht am Rigi which actually means Kuessnacht on the foot of Rigi.
Weggis is one of the places that you need to access to be able to go up to Mount Rigi. You can take the cable car from Weggis going up to Mount Rigi, the Queen of the Mountains.
You can also take the cogwheel train from Vitznau and Goldau to the top of Mount Rigi. The cable car from Weggis and the cogwheel train from Vitznau and Goldau operates daily.
