Weggis has been having a nice weather this Spring season. After I took the photos from Hoechi, on top of the hill in Weggis on Friday on the 17th of April 2009, the next day Saturday on the 18th of April 2009, I also took some more photos of Weggis from the Panorama-Strasse which is actually along the Kantonstrasse (Kanton street).
I normally call this area the Weggis Viewpoint instead of Panorama-Strasse just like how I call Hoechi as Hilltop or Top of the Hill.
Panorama-Strasse as the name connotes, is where you can really take nice photos of the scenic panoramic views of the picturesque Weggis and the St. Mary’s parish church with its 1200-year-old tower said to be the oldest building in Weggis, with the view of the two noses, the Vitznauerstock on the left and the Bürgenstock on the right.
