Weggis participated at the Basel Holiday Fair or “Basler Ferienmesse” on February 13-15, 2009. Holiday or vacation or travel destinations in different regions and countries were being promoted by its respective regions and countries together with the travel agencies, tour operators, and several other exhibitors during the fair. Basel Holiday Fair 2009 was in cooperation with muba, the largest consumer fair in Switzerland held at the Exhibition Centre or “Messezentrum” in Basel on February 13-22, 2009.

Weggis was also at FESPO 2009, also the largest Holiday, Sports and Leisure Fair in Switzerland, which was held at the Exhibition Centre in Zurich on January 29, 2009 to February 01, 2009. I did not take pictures at the FESPO 2009.
The next FESPO, normally combined with the World of Golf, in Zurich will be on January 28-31, 2010. There will surely be another Basel Holiday Fair as the next muba will be on February 5-14, 2010 at the Exhibition Centre in Basel.
